Extra measures are taken in the care of high-risk pregnancies
Certain conditions such as diabetes, a heart condition and hypertension can put you in the higher risk category for developing complications before, during and after pregnancy. At San Ramon Regional Medical Center, we offer specialized care for
pregnancies that are at risk for maternal, fetal or obstetrical complications. We can take care of you and your baby.
If you do have complications and your baby needs extra attention, we offer a Level II special care nursery where we can provide a higher level of care for premature or sick babies. Our neonatologist and neonatal nurse practitioners are always on call.
