SRRMC Serves as Grand Marshal of Kiwanis Parade in Danville

Sep 13, 2021

San Ramon Regional Medical Center was honored to serve as Grand Marshal of the 2021 Kiwanis Parade in Danville over Labor Day Weekend. This year’s parade theme was “Honoring Our Medical First Responders” to pay thanks to the countless professionals who have dedicated their lives to serving others during the COVID-19 pandemic.

CEO Ann Lucena, CHRO Dennis Mills, ICU Nurse Sumy Mathews and Social Worker Emma Haag rode in the parade on behalf of San Ramon Regional Medical Center. They represented the hundreds of frontline caregivers at our hospital who are dedicated to caring for our patients and community. It was an honor to be selected as Grand Marshal for this year's parade.

The parade was co-sponsored by the Town of Danville, supported by community groups such as the Aktion Club, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts, National Charity League and Boys Team Charity, and sponsored by local businesses and individuals. All proceeds raised are redistributed to local nonprofits through grants issued by the San Ramon Valley Kiwanis Foundation.
