San Ramon Regional Medical Center Names Wendy Sirivar Chief Nursing Officer
Oct 1, 2019San Ramon, Calif. – San Ramon Regional Medical Center has appointed Wendy Sirivar as its new Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), effective immediately.
As CNO, Sirivar will oversee all nursing units, nursing supervisors, and the quality and infection control departments.
“Wendy is a wonderful addition to our executive team,” said Ann Lucena, CEO of San Ramon Regional Medical Center. “She has proven her ability to develop strong teams that provide superior patient care and service excellence. Her leadership will help us continue to deliver on our vision of being a community built on care.”
Sirivar joined San Ramon Regional Medical Center in 2015 as the director of the emergency department, and has been serving as Interim CNO for the last three months.
Sirivar began her nursing career as an emergency room staff nurse at a large pediatric and adult trauma center in Colorado. She continued her career as a travel nurse until she moved permanently to the Bay Area. Before joining San Ramon Regional Medical Center, she filled a variety of leadership roles within the Sutter Health System in San Francisco.
Sirivar earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Colorado University and her Masters in Healthcare Administration with a specialization in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University. She recently graduated from the Tenet Leadership Academy.
