Oct 1, 2019
San Ramon, Calif. – San Ramon Regional Medical Center is proud to announce that Richard Moniz has been named Employee of the Year for 2017.
Richard has been an employee at the hospital for nearly seven years and works the night shift in the housekeeping department. He was nominated by employees in the Family Birthing Center after consistently displaying extraordinary efforts assisting the unit.
“Richard always goes above and beyond every time he works. Anytime we need anything, we call and without hesitation he is there to help,” said Julie Heppert, RN, relief charge nurse in the Family Birthing Center. “He is an outstanding employee and very humble.”
Co-workers have only positive things to say about Richard and we are proud to have him on our team. Not only is he extremely hard working, but he is an excellent team player.
“Richard is a breath of fresh air when he walks on the unit. He is always friendly with the staff,” said Ann Broussard, RN, night shift manager in the Family Birthing Center. “Richard is truly an asset to San Ramon Regional and his work ethic does not go unnoticed.”
San Ramon Regional Medical Center recognizes Pillars of Excellence every month throughout the year. The Employee of the Year is then chosen from that group of Pillars.
