Putting Robotic-Assisted Technology at the Forefront
Jan 3, 2020San Ramon Regional Medical Center is proud to provide the latest, cutting-edge technology for the communities we serve, allowing patients to stay close to home for care and treatment. We began utilizing robotic-assisted surgery in 2000 and continue to expand the program, empowering physicians to offer exceptional surgical care to their patients. San Ramon Regional Medical Center was the first program west of the Mississippi River to perform da Vinci procedures.
In early 2019, San Ramon Regional acquired the da Vinci Xi Surgical System. The system was designed with the goal of further advancing the technology used in minimally invasive surgery. The system can be used across a wide spectrum of minimally invasive surgical procedures in the areas of gynecology, urology, thoracic, cardiac and general surgery.
