San Ramon Regional Medical Center Names Amber Campbell Chief Strategy Officer
Apr 4, 2022San Ramon, Calif. – April 4, 2022 – San Ramon Regional Medical Center has appointed Amber Campbell as its new Chief Strategy Officer, effective April 4, 2022.
As Chief Strategy Officer, Amber will focus on the growth and development of San Ramon Regional Medical Center’s services to ensure the hospital is meeting the needs of the community and providing convenient access to high-quality care close to home.

She brings with her excellent experience and a fresh perspective in healthcare strategy,” said Ann Lucena, CEO of San Ramon Regional Medical Center. “Amber is committed to enhancing and expanding the services we provide to our patients in the Tri-Valley Area.”
Amber joins San Ramon Regional Medical Center from Sutter Health where she most recently served as the Director of Delivery System Strategy of the South Valley, which includes Stanislaus, San Joaquin and Merced Counties. Prior to this role, she also served as Clinical Outreach Coordinator & Relationship Manager for Sutter’s Oncology Services in 12 counties across the Valley, Senior Department Manager of Sutter’s Orthopedics and Podiatry Departments in Stanislaus and San Joaquin Counties, and she successfully helped to start many of their surgical services departments including their Breast Health, Neurosurgery, and Interventional Radiology programs.
Amber earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of California at San Diego, Masters of Business Administration with a focus on Healthcare Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst Isenberg School of Management, and is a current student in her final semester for a Doctorate of Business Administration with a focus on Management from Alliant International University, California’s School of Management & Leadership. Amber is also the author of Fierce: The Power of Owning Your Journey.
Amber is affiliated with numerous healthcare organizations including serving as the Treasurer for the Association of Cancer Executive Board of Directors and the Career Development Transition Committee as well as Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee for the California Association of Healthcare Leaders which is the local chapter for the American College of Healthcare Executives.
