Family Reunites with Physician Who Delivered All 10 Children

An East Bay family with ten children – all delivered by the same physician at San Ramon Regional Medical Center – came together for a visit on Dec. 30, 2019.

Karleskind familyEric and Maya Karleskind of Alamo, Calif., have ten children, ages 3 to 20. Their names from oldest to youngest are Eric, Etienne, Edouard, Maximilien, Christoph, Marie-Catherine, Claire, Gregoire, Clotilde and Emile. All ten children were delivered by Dr. Emil Eyvazzadeh at San Ramon Regional Medical Center. This is pretty remarkable, considering he wasn’t out of town, sick or delivering other babies when Maya went into labor each time.

“We are very blessed,” Maya said.

The family continues to stay in touch with Dr. Eyvazzadeh. Eric and Maya even named their youngest son, Emile, after him.
